On February 1, 2015, the following Eligibility Standards Changes occurred:
SSI-MAO Non-Cash and Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) income standards increased from $973.00 to $981.00 for a one (1) person household and $1311.00 to $1328.00 for a two (2) person household.
Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB) income standards range for a one (1) person household increased from $973.01-$1167.00 to $981.01-$1177.00 and for a two (2) person household from $1311.01-$1573.00 to $1328.01-$1593.00.
Qualified Individual-1 (QI-1) income standards range for a one (1) person household increased from $1167.01-$1313.00 to $1177.01-$1325.00 and for a two (2) person household from $1573.01-$1770.00 to $1593.01-$1793.00.
Each year there are several Eligibility Standards Changes in January, February, July and October. Keep checking back in those months to verify your eligibility is being calculated correctly.
We encourage you to make sure your eligibility worker at ALTCS is updating and changing your Share of Cost on time to prevent paying too much or too little to your program contractor, facility or service agency.
