Each year based on the Consumer Price Index Social Security makes some changes.
The Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for Social Security and SSI beneficiaries will be 1.7% increase.
The Tax Rate for employees and self-employed remains the same at 7.65% and 15.30% respectively.
The Retirement Earning Test Exempt Amounts increase from $1290/mo to $1310/mo.
The SSI standard changes from $721 to $733.
The SSI resource limit stays at $2000 for individuals and $3000 for couples.
And the average retired worker will make $1328/mo.
With these new numbers we can expect the ALTCS income limit to increase to $2199 and the personal needs allowance to $109.95.
