On April 1, 2014, the following Eligibility Standards Changes will occur:
1. SSI-MAO and QMB Income Standards increased from $958 to $973 for single individuals and $1,293 to $1,311 for couples.
2. SLMB Income Standards range increased from $958.01 – $1,149 to $973.01 – $1,167 for single individuals and $1,293.01 – $1,551 to $1,311.01 – $1,573 for couples.
3. QI-1 Income Standards range increased from $1,149.01 – $1,293 to $1,167.01 – $1,313 for single individuals and $1,5551.01 – $1,745 to $1,573.01 – $1,770 for couples.
Each year there are several Eligibility Standards Changes in January, April, July and October. Keep checking back in those months to verify your eligibility is being calculated correctly.
We encourage you to make sure your eligibility worker at ALTCS is updating and changing your Share of Cost on time to prevent paying too much or too little to your program contractor, facility or service agency.
